Blair IB Magnet offer a variety of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and water polo.

Sports: Eligibility Rules
Before a student athlete is eligible to participate on any athletic team, she or he must meet the following requirements:

1. Meet all C.I.F. and existing league requirements:
   1. age requirement
   2. eight semester rule
   3. scholastic eligibility
   4. residential eligibility
   5. transfer eligibility
   6. amateur status
2. Meet the State of California academic requirements of 2.0, “C” grade point average in all classes.
3. Meet the citizenship requirements of 2.0, “C” average.
4. A probation letter must be on file if the 2.0 G.P.A. is not met. Probation is granted only one time in a school year, and is for 10 weeks only.
5. Have an Emergency Consent Form completed by parent or guardian, including proof of insurance, and or other emergency information.
6. Pass a yearly physical.
7. Have no debts with Pasadena Unified School District or Blair High School.

Each athlete is responsible for picking up the proper forms from his or her coach, and for returning them to the Athletic Director. The Athletic Director will process each athlete before he or she may participate on any sport teams.
